To export data from a WorkView application:

  1. In the WorkView ribbon, click Export. The Export screen is displayed.
  2. Click Application.
  3. Select the Application from the drop-down list from which you want to export data.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Browse to the location where you want to save the export file.
  6. Specify a File Name. The file name should have an .xml extension.
  7. Click Next.
  8. If you would like save the mappings defined in the export wizard and use the saved mappings when you import the exported data, select Save Mappings.
  9. Specify the directory to which you want to save the mapping file in the Folder field
  10. Specify a File Name.
  11. Click Next.
  12. Click Finish. The exported information will be save to an XML formatted file.
    Note:

    Extended external classes in the exported application will not be exported.
