The General ribbon group contains WorkView components that are available to all applications. These include:

Data Sets: Sets of values that limit what can be entered as an attribute value in an attribute field in filters and views. Data sets values appear in a drop-down list when users enter attribute values. For example, a Data set for Issue Status could include values of Open and Closed or a Data set could contain all 50 states in the U.S. See Configuring Data Sets for more information.

Sequences: Auto-incremented default values that can be used for attribute field values. See Creating Sequences for more information.

Calendars: Allows users to view objects as they relate to a date. Calendars use filters to control the objects displayed in a calendar layout. See Creating Calendars for more information.

Keytype Maps: Allows the mapping of an attribute to a Keyword Type or mapping of a static value to a Keyword Type. Keytype mappings can be used for filters, form correlations, Document Type correlations, and Dynamic Folders. See Creating Keyword Type Maps for more information.

Notifications: Notifications can be configured with timers to schedule when e-mail messages are sent to notify users. See Creating Notifications for more information.
