WorkView can integrate with Perceptive Content to access Perceptive Content documents as they relate to WorkView objects.

To configure an integration with Perceptive Content:

  1. In OnBase Studio, from the Home ribbon, click Properties.
  2. Select Options.
  3. In the Documents section, select Enable Perceptive Content.
    Note:

If this option is not selected, the Search Perceptive documents option will not be available when configuring folders.

  4. In the left pane, select Perceptive Content.
  5. Enter the appropriate Perceptive system information. This information should be obtained from your Perceptive/ImageNow REST API Administrator.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Within the Repositories pane, select the WorkView tab.
  8. Expand the application you want to integrate with Perceptive Content.
  9. Expand the Classes folder.
  10. Right-click on the class you want to integrate with Perceptive Content and select New | Folder.
  11. Enter and Name for the folder.
  12. Select Search Perceptive documents.
  13. Click Next.
  14. Finish configuring your folder as appropriate for your solution. If necessary, you can add the same Document Type using different KeyType Maps to a folder. See Configuring Folder Types for more information about configuring folders.
    Note:

The OnBase Keyword Types used to configure KeyType Maps must match the name of keywords in Perceptive Content in order for the correct documents to be displayed in the WorkView folder. You may need to configure new Keyword Types in the OnBase Configuration module to accomplish this. Configure a Document Type Group and Document Type specifically for the Perceptive Content integration and assign the Keyword Types matching the Perceptive Content system to this Document Type.
