To purge all inactive and deleted objects from the database:

From the WorkView ribbon, click Purge Objects within the Maintenance group.
- Select the Repository from which you would like to purge objects.
- Select Inactive Objects to purge the inactive objects in the repository.
- Once you select the Inactive Objects, the date picker under it becomes available. Pick a date before which all inactive objects will be purged from the system. This field is mandatory.
- Select Deleted Objects to purge the deleted objects in the repository.
- Click OK.
- A message asking Are you sure you want to purge the selected types of objects? Click Yes to continue with the purge. Click No to cancel.

Upon clicking Yes, a message asking Are you sure you want to purge the selected types of objects? This will affect the entire database. Click Yes to continue with the purge. Click No to cancel.
CAUTION:
Deleting inactive objects could affect objects currently in production.
- When the purging is complete, a message stating The database has been purged of [x] objects out of [y] objects successfully. where x will be the actual number of objects purged, and y will be the actual number of objects available for purge with the requested parameters.
- Click OK.
