By default, a trigger's target attribute is not editable by a user. In order to allow a trigger's target attribute to be editable, you must specifically configure it to be editable. To configure the target attribute to be editable:

  1. Select the trigger you want to be editable.
  2. In the Properties pane, select the Advanced tab.
  3. Select Allow UI to edit target attribute.
    Note:

    It is recommended that conditions are configured to prevent a trigger from overwriting user input. For example, you could configure a condition that would only edit the attribute value if the value was null.
