You can delete objects from a results list. To delete one or more objects:

  1. Select the object(s) you want to delete in the list.

    Note that you can select multiple objects to delete at once in the following ways:

    • Select a row, hold down Shift on the keyboard, and click on another row to select all rows in between.

    • Hold down Ctrl on the keyboard and click on the rows you want to select.

    • Click on a row, drag the cursor to the last row you want selected, and release the mouse click.

    Selected rows are highlighted.

  2. Click the Delete button, press Delete on the keyboard, or right-click on the object you want to delete and select Delete Selected.
  3. Once you perform a delete action, the Delete object(s) dialog box is displayed.

    All objects that were selected for deletion in the results list are listed here. Before confirming your deletions, note the following:

    • Objects without dependencies are listed in black and are selected by default.

    • Objects with dependencies are listed in red and are not selected by default.

    • When you delete an object with dependencies, all of the object's dependencies are also deleted.

  4. Select all objects in the list that you want to delete. You can select all of the objects for deletion by selecting the check box column's header. When all objects are selected for deletion, a check mark will be displayed in the header.
  5. then click Delete Selected to complete the deletion. If you want to cancel the deletion instead, click Cancel.
