You can access the following options for WorkView objects by selecting User Options from the File menu and then selecting WorkView. Once you have selected your desired options, click Save.
If you want views to be displayed as a drop-down list, select When there is an overflow of views on an object, condense all views into a dropdown list. If you do not select this option, views will be displayed as a tabbed list.
If you want lookup filters to display in a separate window with access to the Filter ribbon, select Show lookup filters in a separate window.
When the Remember filter position option is selected, the position of the filter opened by clicking Add to List is saved
If you want to be prompted to close windows that are directly associated with an object that you are closing, select Prompt before closing all objects associated to the parent. This prompt will allow you to decide whether or not you want to close all of the associated objects.
This option only applies when using the Unity viewer.
If you would always like to close windows that are directly associated with an object that you are closing without being prompted, select Close all associated windows when closing the parent.
This option only applies when using the Unity viewer.
If you want to reuse the same window when opening objects, select Open Objects in the Same Window. When this is selected, in an open object, any action that opens another object would open in the same window as the current object's window. Actions that will open in the same window include opening an object via related attribute, a list box, an embedded filter, a relationship attribute within an embedded filter, or via the API.
If you selected Open Objects in Same Window and you want to open an object in a new window, you can do so by pressing Alt on the keyboard while clicking or double-clicking (depending on the control you are accessing) on the item you want to open within the current object.
