For filters that do not require user defined constraints, you can configure whether or not the object count is displayed within the filter bar. To configure a filter to show the object count for the filter:

  1. In the filter bar, click the Configure Filter Settings button. The Settings for Filter Bar dialog box is displayed
  2. Select the check box in the Show Count column for the filter that you want to turn on showing the object count.
    Note:

    The check box will be disabled for any filter that allows a user to enter search constraints or the filter is configured for full text searching.

  3. If you want to display a filter in a dashboard format, select the Display as Dashboard check box that corresponds with the filter.
    Note:

    If a filter is configured with the Display as Dashboard option by an administrator, the check box will be selected and read-only for that filter.

  4. Click OK.
    Note:

    This feature is not available for user-defined filters.
