You can display summary information pertaining to an attribute. To view summary information:

  1. Click on the sigma symbol to the right of the attribute you want to display summary information for.

    Summary options are displayed:

    Note:

    Sum and Average are only available for Integer, Currency, Floating Point, and ObjectID data type attributes.

    • Average: Displays an average of values. Null values are not used in the average calculation.

    • Count: Displays the number of objects returned in the filter.

    • Max: Maximum value for the attribute returned by the filter. When you using alphanumeric values, in a list from A to Z, Z is the maximum. When you are using a date value, the most recent date is the maximum.

    • Min: Minimum value for the attribute returned by the filter. When you using alphanumeric values, in a list from A to Z, A is the minimum. When you are using a date value, the oldest date is the minimum.

    • Sum: Total of values added together.

  2. Select the option(s) you want to display.
  3. Click the check mark to display the option(s). Click the X to cancel the display of the option(s).
    Note:

    Depending on the configuration of your filter, some options may be displayed by default.

  4. The summary information will display at the bottom of the filter, underneath the attribute it is associated with.
