You can share user-defined filters with other users. To share a user-defined filter:

  1. Click the Configure Filter button next to the filter you want to share.

    The Filter Configuration dialog box is displayed.

  2. Click Share.
  3. Select the user(s) you want to send the filter to. The users listed are users that have access to the current application.
  4. Click the right arrow button to move the selected user(s) to the Selected Users field.
  5. Enter a message to be sent with the filter in the Message for Selected Users field.
    Note:

    If you exceed the number of characters allowed in this field, you will not be able to enter any additional characters.

  6. Click OK. Upon logging in and accessing the application, users will receive a notification containing the share filter information.
    Note:

    In order to share a filter with another user, the user you want to share a filter with must have rights to the filter's class and the user must be a member of a common user group as the user who is sharing the filter.
