The following styles can be configured for the attribute field from the Styles tab:

Style

Description

background-color

This option allows you to select the background color of the attribute control field's header. Click on the ellipsis (...) button to access a color picker to select the color.

height

Defines the height of the attribute field. The value entered can be one of the following units of measure:

  • px - Pixels (This is the default unit and is used if no unit is specified.)

  • % - Percentage

    Note:

    Relative height set on controls within a control that does not have a height set is not supported.

  • in – Inches

  • cm – Centimeters

  • mm – Millimeters

  • em – An em unit is the current font size. If the font size is set to 16 pt and the element is set to 2em, the element will be 32 pt.

  • ex – An ex unit is equal to the x-height of the font.

  • pt – Points

  • pc – Picas

width

Defines the width of the attribute field. The value entered can be one of the following units of measure:

  • px - Pixels (This is the default unit and is used if no unit is specified.)

  • % - Percentage

  • in – Inches

  • cm – Centimeters

  • mm – Millimeters

  • em – An em unit is the current font size. If the font size is set to 16 pt and the element is set to 2em, the element will be 32 pt.

  • ex – An ex unit is equal to the x-height of the font.

  • pt – Points

  • pc – Picas

text-align

This option allows you to define how text in the field's label will be aligned.

Alignment options available from the drop-down list are none, left, center, right, and justify.

--field-border-color

This option allows you to select the color of the attribute field border. Click on the ellipsis (...) button to access a color picker to select the color.

--field-border-radius

This option allows you to define how much the corners of the attribute field are rounded.

The value can be defined with:

  • One value: applies to all four corners
  • Two values: top-left and bottom-right corners, and top-right and bottom-left corners
  • Three values: top-left corner, top-right and bottom-left corner, bottom-right corner
  • Four values: top-left corner, top-right corner, bottom-right corner, bottom-left corner

The value entered can be one of the following units of measure:

  • px - Pixels (This is the default unit and is used if no unit is specified.)

  • % - Percentage

  • in – Inches

  • cm – Centimeters

  • mm – Millimeters

  • em – An em unit is the current font size. If the font size is set to 16 pt and the element is set to 2em, the element will be 32 pt.

  • ex – An ex unit is equal to the x-height of the font.

  • pt – Points

  • pc – Picas

--field-border-style

In the Style Value column, you can select the line style for the border around the attribute field. You can select none, dotted, solid, dashed, double, or inset.

--field-border-width

Enter the value for the width of the border line around the attribute field.

The value entered can be one of the following units of measure:

  • keywords: thin, medium, thick
  • px - Pixels (This is the default unit and is used if no unit is specified.)

  • % - Percentage

  • in – Inches

  • cm – Centimeters

  • mm – Millimeters

  • em – An em unit is the current font size. If the font size is set to 16 pt and the element is set to 2em, the element will be 32 pt.

  • ex – An ex unit is equal to the x-height of the font.

  • pt – Points

  • pc – Picas

The values can be set for all four borders separately, in the following order: top border, right border, bottom border, left border. The following is an example:thin medium thick 10px

--field-font-color

This option allows you to select the color of the control attribute field label text. Click on the ellipsis (...) button to access a color picker to select the color.

--field-font-family

This option allows you to set font family of the attribute field. One or more family can be set, separated by commas.

--field-font-size

This option allows you to specify the size of text of the attribute field label. The value entered can be one of the following units of measure:

  • px - Pixels (This is the default unit and is used if no unit is specified.)

  • % - Percentage

  • in – Inches

  • cm – Centimeters

  • mm – Millimeters

  • em – An em unit is the current font size. If the font size is set to 16 pt and the element is set to 2em, the element will be 32 pt.

  • ex – An ex unit is equal to the x-height of the font.

  • pt – Points

  • pc – Picas

--field-font-weight

This option allows you to specify whether the label of the attribute field is normal or bold.

Note:

When properties can be configured on both the General and Styles tabs, the property changes will be properly displayed on both tabs.
