The following properties area available for containers:

Property

Description

Help Text

Displays specified text when the selected filter control is hovered over in the Client.

Note:

Up to 256 characters is supported. Characters entered beyond 256 characters will be truncated.

Height

Appearance section- Specifies the height of the selected container control.

Label Section- Specifies the height of the label area of the container control.

The value entered can be one of the following units of measure:

  • px - Pixels (This is the default unit and is used if no unit is specified.)

  • % - Percentage

    Note:

    Relative height set on controls within a control that does not have a height set is not supported.

  • in – Inches

  • cm – Centimeters

  • mm – Millimeters

  • em – An em unit is the current font size. If the font size is set to 16 pt and the element is set to 2em, the element will be 32 pt.

  • ex – An ex unit is equal to the x-height of the font.

  • pt – Points

  • pc – Picas

Width

Appearance section- Specifies the width of the selected container control.

Label Section- Specifies the width of the label area of the container control.

The values entered can be one of the following units of measure:

  • px - Pixels (This is the default unit and is used if no unit is specified.)

  • % - Percentage

  • in – Inches

  • cm – Centimeters

  • mm – Millimeters

Text Align

Specifies how the text will be aligned within the label area defined. The text can be aligned left, right, justify, or center.

Background Color

This option allows you to select the background color of the container control. Click on the ellipsis (...) button to access a color picker to select the color.
