If you want to allow the editing of objects associated with the object, select the Edit Mode check box. When this option is enabled, an Edit button displays in the embedded filter within the view.
Filters that use association classes will not have an Edit button available in the client, regardless of the configuration. Editing an association class embedded filter is not supported. In addition, the Edit Mode cannot be used in conjunction with the Allow Add to List option.
