CAUTION:

When embedding filters into a view, ensure the attributes assigned to the filters are in alignment with the desired security model. If a filter is placed on a view, users will have rights to see the filter's results, including all attributes configured for the filter.

Upon inserting a list box control into a view, the Create List Box dialog box is displayed:

To configure the list box:

  1. Select the Application from the drop-down list that contains the filter you want to place into the control.
  2. Select the Class from the drop-down list that contains the filter you want to place into the control.
  3. Select the Filter which has the results you want displayed in the list box control.
    Note:

    The first attribute configured in the filter will be displayed for the objects within the list box control in the clients.

  4. Click OK.
