If you want only the objects displayed in the filter to be directly related to the current object, select this option. This setting only affects filters when a relationship or association between two classes exists. When a relationship to another class exists for a filter, this setting will default selected. When there is no relationship, it defaults to not selected. When this option is available, it is selected by default.
You can specify what attribute is used to determine the attribute that will serve as the parent value in the Source drop-down list.
When this option is selected and the filter embedded on a view has a relationship attribute to the class to which the view belongs, when a new object is added to an embedded filter and Save and New is clicked, subsequent objects will be added to the embedded filter within the parent object.
If the filter selected displays objects that are in the same class as the object's view in which the filter is embedded, selecting Is same Class association will remove the currently opened object from the embedded results list displayed within its view.
When a filter has an attribute that is a relationship attribute or the filter is used for an advanced association, Any can be selected as the Source. When this is selected, any object that is related to the currently opened object is returned.
The Allow Create option should not be used in conjunction with the Any option in the Source field because a specific class is not selected to inform what object should be created.
