Column settings will override the row settings for a cell.
The following properties can be configured for a column.

Width |
Defines the width of the column. The value entered can be in percent of the table or in pixels. If entering a percentage, include the percent sign (%) after the value. |
Horizontal Alignment |
This property defines the horizontal alignment of controls within the cells in the column. |
Vertical Alignment |
This option defines how the text within the column's cells will be aligned vertically. Alignment options available from the drop-down list are baseline, bottom, middle, or top. |
Background Color |
This option allows you to select the background color of the column's cells within the table. Click on the ellipsis (...) button to access a color picker to select the color. |
Relative heights (%) are not supported for controls placed within a table if you have not set a height for the table and rows in the table.
You can delete a column by selecting it and clicking Remove. A message asking Are you sure you want to delete the selected columns? is displayed. Click Yes to complete the deletion.
If you attempted to delete the only remaining column in a table, a message stating Are you sure you want to delete '<table id>'? is displayed. Clicking Yes will delete the table from the view.
