If you want to delete a control, select the control and click the Delete button in the Template Designer ribbon. Alternately, you can select the control and press the Delete keyboard key.
Note:
You cannot delete the entire template in the view's tab.
Note: If you try to delete a control which is used by a rule, you will
not be able to delete it unless you remove that rule.
