You can share user-defined filters with other users. To share a user-defined filter:

  1. Click Configure filters. The Configure Filter screen is displayed.

  2. Select the Editing Existing Filter Config Option.
  3. Select the Filter Name you want to share.
  4. Click Share.The Share Filter dialog box is displayed.

  5. Select the user(s) you want to send the filter to. The users listed are users that have access to the current application.
  6. Click the right arrow button to move the selected user(s) to the Assigned Users field.
  7. Enter a message to be sent with the filter in the Message for Selected Users field. The field has a 1024 single byte character limit.
  8. Click OK. Upon logging in and accessing the application, users will receive a notification containing the share filter information.
    Note:

    In order to share a filter with another user, the user you want to share a filter with must have rights to the filter's class and the user must be a member of a common user group as the user who is sharing the filter.
