  1. Select Workflow | Configuration Locking. The Lock Configuration dialog box opens.
  2. To lock the configuration of a life cycle, click the box in front of the life cycle.
  3. If you want to password protect the configuration of a life cycle, select a life cycle that has a check mark beside it and click Password.

    Enter the password in the Enter New Password for the Life Cycle field and confirm the password by entering it in the Confirm New Password field. Click OK.

    Note:

    The maximum number of characters the password can be is 39 single-byte characters.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each life cycle for which it is appropriate.
  5. Click Save.

    To remove a lock on a life cycle:

  6. Select the check mark box next to the life cycle to remove the check mark.
  7. If the life cycle is password protected, the Enter Password to Unlock Life Cycle dialog box is displayed.
  8. Enter the password for the life cycle and click OK.
  9. Click Save.

To exit without making changes, click Close.
