A user account configured as a service account has the following rights within Workflow:

Execute all system tasks.

Retrieve a list of all life cycles including the life cycle name, ID and all other properties.

Retrieve a list of all queues for any life cycle.

Retrieve a list of all ad hoc tasks and execute any ad hoc task.
