For testing purposes, when preparing to convert your system from Classic Workflow to Core-based Workflow, you may convert Unity Scheduler timers to Legacy timers.

CAUTION: When converting a Unity Scheduler timer to a Legacy timer, any Unity Scheduler Tasks assigned to the timer will be deleted.

To convert a Unity Scheduler timer to a Legacy timer:

  1. In OnBase Studio, in the Conversion group of the Workflow ribbon, click Timers. The Timer Conversion dialog is displayed.
  2. Select the appropriate Repository from the drop-down list.
  3. Select the appropriate Life Cycle from the drop-down list. Alternatively, you can leave the scope at <All> to select timers from all life cycles.
  4. Select Show only timers that have been executed by the Workflow Timer Service if you only want to see timers that have been executed by the Workflow Timer Service.
  5. Select Show only timers that have been selected for conversion if you only want to see timers that have been selected for conversion.
  6. In the Unity Scheduler Timers tab, choose which timers to convert to Legacy timers by selecting the check box for each timer. The following tools can be used to work with the timers in the list:
    • To search for a specific timer, enter text into the Find Timers field.
    • To sort the timers, click the column names in the list header. You can sort timers by Timer or Life Cycle.
    • To convert all Unity Scheduler timers, select the check box in the list header.
  7. Once you are finished selecting timers for conversion, click OK to begin the conversion process, or click Cancel to close the dialog box without making any changes. After the conversion process is complete, the Conversion Report is displayed in the editor pane.
