Upon creating a new document from an existing document through Send To | Create New Document, you can select Initiate Workflow in the Create new document from existing dialog box to add created documents into the life cycle(s) assigned to the Document Type to which the document was created.
Note:
When you select this option in the Awaiting Index scan queue, the document will not be added to a Workflow queue regardless of whether or not the Initiate Workflow option was selected.
