If the REST response header does not contain information about the file extension for the document being created, this option allows you to specify how to determine the file extension to use.

Note the following:

  • If the file extension is resolved from a constant string or a property value, it does not matter if the file extension includes a period. For example, both .jpg and jpg are valid values.

  • If the file extension cannot be resolved using either a constant string or a property value, the default file format of the Document Type is used for the file extension.

Select one of the following options:

Option

Description

Document Type default

Use the file extension of the default file format of the Document Type being used to create the document.

Constant

Enter a constant string to use as the file extension.

Property Value

Enter the name of a Workflow property to use its value as the file extension.
