Load balancing can be configured in the Load Balance tab of queue configuration. When Unbalanced is selected for the Load Balance Type, the queue has no special configuration. Users with access to an unbalanced queue can see and perform work associated with any of its documents.
Once you define a queue as load balanced, you must configure members (Configuring Members) and a queue type (Load Balancing Queue Options).
If you are configuring load balancing in a Layer 2 or Layer 3 institutional database, the Institution drop-down list allows you to configure load balancing for a specific institution. The following icon is used to denote items on the Load Balance tab that can be configured per institution:
