An action is a task or process performed within the life cycle or business process. Action Types must be associated with an action created in a life cycle, otherwise the new action will not be properly configured. When a new action is added, the Action Type drop-down list is activated. This drop-down list is divided into groups, based upon what the action does and what is affected. Once an action type is selected, OnBase prompts you for additional information required in order to perform the task.
