To create a system event:

  1. In the Workflow tab of the Repositories pane, right-click and select New | System Event. The Create Workflow System Event dialog box is displayed.
  2. Enter a unique name for the event in the Event Name field.
  3. In the Event Source drop-down list, choose an event source. This is the type of item that will trigger the event.
  4. In the Event Category drop-down list, choose an event category. This list is populated based on the configured event source.
