To check out a life cycle, complete one of the following tasks:

In the Repositories pane within the Workflow tab, select the life cycle you want to check out, right-click and select Check Out or click Check Out on the Workflow ribbon.

With the life cycle selected in the Repositories pane, within the Workflow tab, that you want to check out, click the check out link in the Properties pane.
