A User Form is a customized form, designed using Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) to allow user interaction during a Workflow process. User forms can also be auto-generated for actions that use HTML forms. A user form must be created outside the system before it can be used within Workflow. Any user forms that are used in a Workflow process must be available to all users of the Workflow process, from the same network location.
The Web Workflow interface, Core-Based OnBase Client Workflow interface, and Unity Workflow interface can accommodate user forms accessible by URL.
The main difference between a user form and an E-Form is that the user form is not imported into OnBase, and therefore, is not stored in the database. It is merely used as a placeholder for keyword information.
