To change the owner of an item, select an item and select Change Owner in the ribbon.
You are prompted to select a user to assign ownership:
Select a user from this drop-down list and click OK.
Note:
Once you have reached the maximum configured number of items that can be owned in a life cycle, you cannot take ownership of additional items.
Note:
Assigning ownership to <None> removes all ownership.

You can also change ownership outside of the Workflow Queue Administration window by clicking Change Owner on the Queue Administration ribbon.
