OnBase has a built-in event manager that triggers events when a document is modified. The events are processed by event listeners that self-register and then process the events. All OnBase clients using the OnBase Application Server funnel through the same event manager, so document modifications go through the same process.
A message is sent to Epic whenever a document's binary data is modified in OnBase. This includes any of the following actions:
- Page add
- Page delete
- Page move
- Page rotation/flip
- New revision
- Burning a deficiency
