The Default Sort Column option controls whether the column has a default sort applied when a user opens a patient record. This option is available only if the Allow Sorting option is turned on.
Only one column can be configured as a default sort column. If no default sort column is specified, contents are sorted based on the order of the columns in the Enabled Columns list.
Select the Default Sort Column option to apply a default sort order to the column when a user opens a patient record.
Clear the Default Sort Column option if the column should not have a default sort order applied.
