You can remap a Content Type from one Unified Type to another Unified Type. A specific Content Type can be mapped to only one Unified Type at a time. Mapping a Content Type to a second Unified Type unmaps the Content Type from the first Unified Type.

To remap a Content Type:

  1. In the Hyland Healthcare Configuration Utility, select the Unified Type the Content Type should be mapped to.
  2. Select the Show Mapped Content Types option in the right pane.
    Note:

If the Unified Type has unsaved Content Type selections, a warning message is displayed. Clicking Continue will undo the unsaved changes.

The All Content Types list is refreshed to include Content Types that are already mapped to other Unified Types.

    Tip:

An exclamation point is displayed next to each Content Type that is already mapped. Rest your pointer over the exclamation point to display the name of the mapped Unified Type.

  3. Select a Content Type you want to remap to this Unified Type. You are prompted to confirm you want to continue with the selection.
  4. Click Continue to continue mapping.
  5. Click Save in the lower-right corner of the page.

The Previously Mapped Type dialog box displays the Content Types you have chosen to remap. Each Content Type is followed by the Unified Type it is currently mapped to.

  6. Click Continue. The Content Types are remapped to the current Unified Type.
