The following topics discuss requirements for installing the Hyland Healthcare Configuration Provider Host.

Internet Information Services (IIS) Requirements

Internet Information Services (IIS) is required. The server must be configured for secure connections (HTTPS), with Require SSL enabled.

IIS must be configured to allow PUT and DELETE requests. In some IIS installations, PUT and DELETE requests may be blocked by the WebDAVModule. If PUT and DELETE requests are blocked, the affected applications typically encounter HTTP 405 errors. You can change this behavior by removing the WebDAVModule from the applications and ensuring that PUT and DELETE requests are allowed.

Microsoft .NET Requirements

The Microsoft .NET 6.0 Windows Hosting Bundle is required.

The Microsoft .NET Core Windows Server Hosting Bundle 3.1.12 (or later patch) is required to run the Hyland Healthcare Configuration Provider Host installer.

Database Requirements

The Hyland Healthcare Configuration Provider Host requires a specific database schema to store Hyland Healthcare configuration data. The database used for this data can be a Microsoft SQL or Oracle database.

With the Hyland Healthcare Configuration Provider Admin tool, the schema for the configuration data can be either created in a new database or added to an existing database. In OnBase environments, the OnBase database can be used to store the configuration data.
