Users must have the Patient Access privilege in order to use the OnBase Healthcare API. You can grant the Patient Access privilege to specific User Groups in the OnBase Configuration module.

To configure the Patient Access privilege:

  1. In the OnBase Configuration module, select Medical | Healthcare Clients | Patient Access. The Patient Access dialog box is displayed.
  2. Designate the User Groups that should have the Patient Access privilege.
    1. Under Available User Groups, select one or more User Groups.
    2. Click Add.
      To remove an assigned group, select it from the Selected User Groups list, and then click Remove.
  3. When you are done assigning User Groups, click Close.
