You can maximize the amount of viewing space in the Clinician Window by collapsing the categories pane. This allows you to view the categories pane only when needed rather than always having the categories pane visible, or expanded, when viewing patient records.

Note:

The categories pane is always expanded when launching a new session in Clinician Window.

To expand the categories pane from its collapsed state, see Expanding the Categories Pane.

To hide the categories pane:

  1. Open the patient record.
  2. From the categories pane on the left side of the patient overview layout, select Collapse Categories. The categories pane is collapsed.
  3. Hover your mouse over the collapsed categories pane. The categories pane is temporarily expanded to allow you to work in the pane as needed. Move the mouse away from the categories pane to collapse it again.
