The setup wizard provides a user interface for installing the Hyland Clinician Window API.

To install the Hyland Clinician Window API using the setup wizard:

  1. Obtain the Hyland.ClinicianWindow.API.Installer package from your solution provider.
  2. Copy the package to the server where the Hyland Clinician Window API will be installed.
  3. Change the extension on the package from .nupkg to .zip.
  4. Extract the zipped files.
  5. Right-click Hyland.ClinicianWindow.API.Setup.exe and select Run as administrator.
  6. Click Install when prompted. After a few seconds, the Clinician Window API Setup Wizard is displayed.
  7. Click Next. The IIS Settings page is displayed.
  8. Configure the following IIS settings:

    Description

    Web Site

    Select the site to which the Hyland Clinician Window API should be installed in IIS.

    Note:

    For security purposes, it is required that HTTPS be used with the installation of the Hyland Clinician Window API.

    Application Name

    Enter the name for the Hyland Clinician Window API IIS application.

    Application Pool

    Enter the name for the application pool that will be used to run the Hyland Clinician Window API IIS application.

    Require SSL

    Select in order for the Hyland Clinician Window API to use only secure connections.

  9. Click Next. The Destination Folder page is displayed.
  10. Specify the destination folder for the Hyland Clinician Window API files in one of the following ways:
    • Enter the file location in the field provided.

    • Click Change to browse to the file location.

  11. Click Next. The Ready to install Clinician Window API page is displayed.
  12. Click Install.
  13. Click Finish.
  14. Click Close to close the setup applet.
