If OnBase is configured to use notes, users can place notes on a selected document in the content viewer. Notes typically provide additional information about a document for other users to see. Consider the following:

• Notes are only supported with OnBase documents.
• Notes are not supported with NilRead or XDS content.
• Notes can be applied only if Note Types are fully configured in the OnBase Configuration module. This includes appropriate privileges to either view, create, edit, or delete existing notes on a document. For more information, see your system administrator.
