You can enable corrections to allow users to flag documents for review.

Before enabling corrections, ensure correction processes are configured for the source systems from which Hyland Clinician Window retrieves documents. For more information, see the documentation for the associated source systems.

To enable corrections:

  1. Open the Corrections page by doing one of the following:
    • Click the Corrections option on the home page.

    • Click the main menu button in the upper-left corner of the Hyland Clinician Window Configuration application and select Corrections.

    The Corrections page is displayed.

  2. Turn on the Enable corrections panel option.
Turning this option on makes the Flag for Correction option available for documents in Hyland Clinician Window.
  3. Turn on the appropriate correction options.
    • To allow users to designate a correction as urgent, turn on the Enable "urgent" label option.

    • To allow users to enter an optional description of the issue, select the Enable detailed text field option.

  4. Under Types of Corrections, specify the correction types from which users can choose when submitting a correction.

These entries populate the Correction Type drop-down list when a user submits a correction. Users are required to select a correction type when submitting a correction.

    • To add a correction type, click Add Correction Type, and then enter a unique label for the correction type in the field provided. Duplicate labels cannot be saved.

      Note:

The maximum number of characters that can be entered is 40.

    • To remove a correction type, click the Remove button to the right of the correction type.

    • To reorder correction types, click and drag them up or down using their handles.

The order you configure here is reflected in the Correction Type drop-down list in Hyland Clinician Window.

  5. Click Save.
    Tip:

You can also press Ctrl + S to save your changes.
