If a Unified Type is not needed, you can delete it using the Hyland Healthcare Configuration Utility. If the Unified Type has any Content Types mapped to it, the Content Types become unmapped when the Unified Type is deleted.

To delete a Unified Type:

  1. Log on to the Hyland Healthcare Configuration Utility.
    The Home page is displayed.
  2. Click Content Type Mapping from the Home page or application menu.
    The Unified Type configuration page is displayed.
  3. Select the Unified Type you want to delete from the Unified Types pane.
    The right pane displays the configuration of the Unified Type.
  4. Click the Delete Unified Type button in the upper-right corner of the page.
    You are prompted to confirm that you want to delete the Unified Type.
  5. Click Delete to confirm.
    A confirmation message is displayed.
