The Import Content Types utility allows you to create a one-to-one mapping of Content Types to Unified Types. Each Content Type imported using the utility is mapped to a new Unified Type of the same name.

To import Content Types:

  1. Log on to the Hyland Healthcare Configuration Utility.
    The Home page is displayed.
  2. From the Home page or application menu, click Import Content Types under Utilities.
The Import Content Types page is displayed.
  3. Filter the Available Content Types list as needed.
    1. Select one or more repositories from the Repository drop-down list.
The Available Content Types list is filtered to show Content Types from the selected repositories. Each Content Type name is followed by the repository it belongs to.
    2. To filter Content Types by name, start typing the name in the Search Available Content Types field.
    Note:

Content Types that are currently mapped to Unified Types are not available to be mapped to new Unified Types.

  4. Select each Content Type that you want to map to its own Unified Type.
Each Content Type you select will result in a new Unified Type of the same name.
    • To add a Content Type, select it from the Available Content Types list.
    • To add all Content Types currently shown in the Available Content Types list, click Select All.
    • To remove a selected Content Type, select it from the Selected Content Types list.
    Note:

If the browser window is narrow, then available and selected Content Types are displayed in a single list. A check mark is displayed next to each Content Type selected for import. To view only selected Content Types, click Show Selected. To view all available Content Types, click Show All.

  5. Click Import in the lower-right corner of the page.
You are prompted to confirm that you want to import the selected Content Types.
  6. Click Import to continue.

The Imported Content Types dialog box displays a list of Unified Types that were successfully created and mapped to their corresponding Content Types.

  7. Click Continue.
The Import Content Types page is refreshed, allowing you to import additional Content Types as needed.
