Connections to the Encompass API are configured within the OnBase Configuration module. This connection configuration establishes OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials authentication flow.

To configure the connection to the Encompass API:

  1. From the OnBase Configuration module, go to Utils | Web Integration Settings. The Web Integration Settings dialog box is displayed.
  2. Click Create. The Web Integration Settings dialog box is displayed with configuration settings for establishing an OAuth connection.
  3. From the Integration Type drop-down list, select Encompass (Loan Archival).
  4. From the Service Type column, select Encompass.
  5. In the Settings section, enter the Client ID, Client Secret, and the Instance ID of your Encompass system.
    Note: Hyland must enter the Client Secret.
  6. In the Authentication Type section, select OAuth.
  7. Click Save.
