The Hyland Temporary File Service is required to support the Integration for Encompass. As loan documents are pulled from Encompass, they are staged in a location specified by the Temp File Service prior to being ingesting into OnBase.
The Integration for Encompass supports both S3 and local UNC share locations for the Temp File Service Storage. The location chosen should be sized appropriately to support the expected volume of loan documents pulled from Encompass at any given time. Once those documents are ingested into OnBase, the copy of those files on the Temp File Service will be removed.
