In Workday, a Security Domain refers to a logical grouping of data and security policies. Security domains are used to control access to data and features within the Workday application based on an organization's specific needs and requirements.

To create and enable the security domain available for the Hyland for Workday Financial Management app:
  1. Log in to Workday Tenant and search for App Manager.
  2. On the App Manager page, from the Installed Apps table, select HFW-FIN-App and click Configure.
  3. On the Configure In-Tenant Application page, navigate to the Model Components section.
  4. In the Security Domains table, beside Manage:App Configuration (HFW-FIN-APP_fzlxvg), click Create.
  5. On the Create Security Policy for Domain dialog box, select the Confirm checkbox and click OK.
    The Create Security Policy for Domain page appears.
  6. Navigate to the Report/Task Permissions section and click the Add icon.
  7. From the Security Group dropdown list, select HFW-Administrator.
  8. Select the View and Modify checkboxes, and click OK.
  9. Review the changes and click Done.
  10. In the search box, search for Activate Pending Security Policy Changes task.
  11. On the Activate Pending Security Policy Changes page, provide a comment in the Comment section to describe the security changes to be published and then, click OK.
  12. Review the data and to make all security changes effective, select the Confirm checkbox.
  13. Click OK.
    On the View Security Timestamp page, the Active? option is displayed as Yes.
