Each business object corresponds to a specific entity or concept within an organization,
such as Employee and Organization. The Business Object holds information about that
entity.
Each business object has its own set of attributes or fields that define the specific data points it can hold. Workday provides a flexible framework that allows organizations to configure and customize these business objects according to their specific needs, making it a powerful tool for managing and analyzing organizational data.
You can configure search query for a business object.
To configure a search query for business objects:

tab.
