You can view and capture documents located in OnBase from Hyland for Workday HCM.

To view and capture documents:

  1. Log in to the Workday Tenant and, on the top right, click the profile image.
  2. Click View Profile.
    The Personal Dashboard is displayed.
  3. On the left pane, click Personal and navigate to the View Employee Documents tab.
  4. Click Login to Hyland.
    If the logged in user is authorized, the View Employee Documents page is displayed where all documents related to the employee are listed.
  5. In the list of documents, click the thumbnail icon for each document to see a quick preview of the document.
  6. Click the Show Document link to view the document in Hyland Quick Access application.
  7. To filter the documents, insert three or more characters in the Search and Filter box at the top of the page and search for the documents.
  8. To capture a document, at the top of the page, click Capture Document.
    The Select a Document Type page appears.
  9. From the Select a Document Type dropdown list, select the document type and click OK.
  10. To upload a file, click the Select files button.
    • Or, you can drag and drop a document to the Upload File section to upload it.
    Note: Only one document of a maximum file size of 10 MB can be uploaded at a time. The allowed file extensions are png, jpg, jpeg, bmp, tiff, tif, pdf, docx, and doc.
  11. Fill the document attributes in the Document Properties table with desired values.
    Note: Some of the contextual keywords are auto-populated based on the field mapping configuration done in the Configuration App.
  12. Click OK.
    The Document Capture Result page appears, where you can view the Document ID and a preview of the document that was captured.
  13. On the Document Capture Result page, you can:
    • Click the View Document link to view the document in Hyland Quick Access.
    • Click the Capture New Document button to capture another document by selecting the same or different document type.
    • Click the View Employee Documents button to navigate to the Employee Documents page.
