After completing the installation and configuration of the Hyland idP server, make sure the installed application pool has been started in IIS. In a default installation, the application pool used by the Hyland IdP server is identityproviderAppPool.
To verify that it is running and the Hyland IAM Services component can be reached, each component can be reached by accessing its URL in a web browser, as described in the following table (where the URL information in brackets [ ] is replaced with the information for your environment). If the component is running correctly, the following responses are returned.
Component |
URL template |
Response |
---|---|---|
Hyland IdP server |
https://[domain]/[application name] Tip:
In a default installation, the application name is identityprovider. |
The Welcome to Hyland IdP page is displayed. |
Hyland IdP Administration client |
https://[domain]/[application name]/admin |
The Hyland IdP Login page is displayed. |
If a component cannot be reached, try recycling the application pool for that component in IIS. For additional help, see the Troubleshooting section in this chapter: Configuring Logging for Troubleshooting Purposes.
If you are able to log in to the Hyland IdP Administration client but the tenant cannot be loaded, access to the Hyland IdP server has most likely been disabled. To enable access, see Enabling and Disabling Configuration Access to the Hyland IdP Server.
