To install Metadata and Content Abstraction using the installer:

  1. Obtain the Hyland.Mca.OnBase.WebApi.Installerfolder from your solution provider.
  2. Using the command line, run the Hyland MCA Web API for OnBase.msi file as an administrator. For example: msiexec /i "./Hyland MCA Web API for OnBase.msi"
    The Hyland MCA Web API for OnBase Setup wizard is displayed.
  3. Click Next.
    The IIS Settings page is displayed.
  4. Select a web server to install MCA to from the Web Site drop-down list. The Web Site list is populated with the web servers configured in IIS and available to the target machine.
  5. Enter a name for your MCA application in the Application Name field.
  6. Enter a name for your MCA application pool in the Application Pool field.
  7. Select Require SSL to run the MCA application with an HTTPS connection. If this option is selected, you must ensure that your server is correctly configured for HTTPS connections. If this option is deselected then an insecure network connection is used.
  8. Click Next.
    The Destination Folder page is displayed.
  9. Enter the installation location for the MCA application in the text field or click Change to navigate to the desired folder location.
  10. Click Next.
    The Ready to install page is displayed.
  11. Click Install.
