To install Metadata and Content Abstraction without using IIS:

  1. Obtain the desired version of the MCA REST Host from your solution provider.
  2. Extract the package contents to the desired directory in the deployment environment.
  3. Run the Hyland.Mca.OnBase.WebApi.exe file located in the directory that contains the extracted Metadata and Content Abstraction package contents.
