For users to make use of the Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In, you need to deploy it to them using a manifest file. The Microsoft 365 Admin Center allows you to deploy the Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In to all your users at once.

To deploy the Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In:

  1. Access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  2. From the sidebar, select Settings > Integrated apps.
    The Integrated apps page is displayed.
  3. Click Upload custom apps.
    The Upload Apps to deploy page of the Deploy New App wizard is displayed.
  4. From the App type drop-down menu, select Office Add-in.
  5. Select Upload manifest file (.xml) from device.
  6. Click Choose File.
    A file selection dialog box is displayed.
  7. Select the manifest file generated for the Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In.
    For information on how to generate a manifest file, see Generating a Manifest XML File.
  8. Click Next.
    The Add users page is displayed.
  9. Under Assign users, select one of the following options:
    • To send the Add-In to all users, select Entire organization.
    • To send the Add-In to only certain users or user groups, select Specific users/groups and add users and groups to the To be added field.
  10. Click Next.
    The Accept permissions requests page is displayed.
  11. Read the required permissions and click Accept permissions.

    A permissions request dialog box is displayed.

  12. Click Accept.
    The permissions request dialog box is closed.
  13. Click Next.
    The Review and finish deployment page is displayed.
  14. Click Finish deployment.
    The Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In is deployed to users.
    Note: It can take up to 24 hours after deployment for the Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In to appear for users.
