In order to use the Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In, you need to generate a manifest XML file. The manifest file contains trust information and privileges necessary for Microsoft® Outlook to communicate with your enterprise content management system (ECM). The manifest file is used to deploy the Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In to users.

To generate a manifest file:

  1. Access the Administration Configuration page by opening a web browser and navigating to https://[domainName]/[installDirectory]/admin where [domainName] is the name of the domain and [installDirectory] is the location where the Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In is installed.
    The Administration Configuration page is displayed.
  2. In the Manifest URL field, enter the URL to the directory of where the Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In is installed.
  3. In the Client ID field, enter the Azure Client ID associated with your installation of the Microsoft 365 Hyland Outlook Office Add-In.
  4. Click Download Manifest.
    A file browser dialog box is displayed.
  5. Confirm the location where you would like the manifest file to be saved.
    The manifest file is saved as an XML file in the selected location.
